]]> On Friday, November 20, 2015 a grand unveiling ceremony was held in front of the NSSAR Headquarters in Louisville, KY to celebrate the placement of the “Sons of Liberty – 1775” bronze statue.

The statue was created by renowned artist, Compatriot James N Muir, and was commissioned and paid for by the contributions of individual Compatriots of the Philadelphia Continental Chapter, who donated it to the NSSAR Headquarters in 2009. The statue stands almost 8 foot tall and weighs about 800 pounds and rests upon a quarried Kentucky limestone base which weighs about 19,000 pounds.
