NSSAR Bronze Statue Unveiling Ceremony Video

On Friday, November 20, 2015 a grand unveiling ceremony was held in front of the NSSAR Headquarters in Louisville, KY to celebrate the placement of the “Sons of Liberty – 1775” bronze statue.

The statue was created by renowned artist, Compatriot James N Muir, and was commissioned and paid for by the contributions of individual Compatriots of the Philadelphia Continental Chapter, who donated it to the NSSAR Headquarters in 2009. The statue stands almost 8 foot tall and weighs about 800 pounds and rests upon a quarried Kentucky limestone base which weighs about 19,000 pounds. Eagle Scout Scholarship Applications

WVSSAR Eagle Scout Committee chairman Ted Cox requests all Eagle Scout Scholarship Applications should be submitted to him by December 18, 2015; he also requests that the Eagle Scout Scholarship applicants should only be residents of West Virginia.
