General Andrew Lewis Chapter Meeting

Historian Beth White will be speaking on “Inherent and Invaluable: The Forgotten History of Trial by Jury” at the Thursday, November 10, meeting of the General Andrew Lewis Chapter.

One of the most important freedoms is right to trial by jury. Loss of the right in England was one of the reasons the earliest colonials sailed for America, where the right was guaranteed and protected in the colonial charters.

The right to trial by jury was central to the American Revolution and cited as a cause of independence.

Join us to learn this amazing journey at the Enslow Park Presbyterian Church, 1338 Enslow Blvd., Huntington, at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
