Underground Railroad Historian Chris Saunders will be the featured speaker at the Thursday, Sept. 10 meeting of the General Andrew Lewis Chapter. On Monday, August 3, 2015, WVSSAR Registrar Raymond M Kane Jr drove to NSSAR National Headquarters located in Louisville, Kentucky and wanted to share his experience while there for those Compatriots who haven’t had the opportunity to visit the NSSAR National Headquarters.
The following is a status report dated July 31, 2015, from Colleen Wilson, the SAR Center Director in reference to the National Outreach Education Initiatives:

significantly impact the SAR membership across the country. We continue to contribute to

On behalf of the officers and members of the George Rogers Clark Chapter, West Virginia Society Sons of the American Revolution, we extend our most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jack Sandy Anderson, who passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his home in Lumberport WV.
Jack Sandy Anderson was a member of the George Rogers Clark Chapter, West Virginia Society Sons of the American Revolution. He was also a past president of the Society of Sons of the Revolution in the State of West Virginia.
